In 1962, she graduated with a gold medal from secondary school No. 37. Novomalorossiyskaya. The same year, she entered the Saratov State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky, from which she graduated in 1967 with a degree in history and social studies. The same year, she began working in the Frunzensky district education department of Saratov, and in December, she moved to work in the city vocational school No. 19. In Saratov. She worked as a social studies teacher, deputy Director for educational work.

 

In December 1973, she moved to work at the Saratov state law Institute. She taught history. In 1975, she entered the post-graduate program of the Saratov State University, and in 1978, she defended her candidate degree thesis and continued to work at the Saratov law Institute (now SSLA) – Saratov State Law Academy. She taught history, political science, political regionalism, ethnopolitology, methods of teaching social science and other disciplines.

 

In 1995, she defended her doctoral dissertation on «Interaction of state and public bodies in training of workers in the Volga region (1960-early 1990’s)», specialty 07.00.01 – «History of social movements and political parties». In January 2002, she was awarded the title of Professor in the Department of political science. Honorary employee of the Higher School. Awarded the medal «Veteran of Labor», certificates of the Ministry of education, the Governor of Saratov region.

 

Author of more than 60 articles and 8 monographs, the latest of which is «Ethnopolitics in Russian regions» published in 2017.

Currently, is a Professor at the Department of history, sociology and politics of the Saratov state law Academy.
