- N. Prudnikov graduated from the Khabarovsk pedagogical Institute (now Far Eastern University) and full-time postgraduate studies at the Lomonosov Moscow state University. Doctor of History, Professor; full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and two international academies of Informatization and Nature Studies and Society.
After graduating with honors from the Pedagogical Institute, he worked as a teacher in Khabarovsk universities. Then he was invited to work in the governmental bodies. Since 1976, he has been working as the head of the lecture group of the Khabarovsk regional party Committee. Then he was transferred to work in Moscow as the head of the lecture group of the Central Committee of the Young Communist League Organization, then worked in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the CPSU. Since 1991 — teaching as a Professor and head of the Department in Moscow universities: Higher School of Economics, MGTA, RSSU, RSUTE, RSUH, MGUPI and others.
Author of more than 200 scientific and journalistic works, monographs, textbooks, manuals, including those published with the stamp of the Ministry of education of the Russian Federation. Winner of the Moscow Grant competition in the field of science and technology in education, various all-Russian competitions.
- N. Prudnikov’s educational publications are published in well-known publishing houses, and enjoy a steady interest and demand in the country. For example, the textbook «History of state and law of foreign countries» only in the last ten years has passed 9 editions in four publishing houses, the textbook «Roman law» in the last five years – 5 editions. Textbooks are purchased EN masse by libraries of Russian universities and are used abroad. The publications are recommended by the Ministry of education and science, the Ministry of higher and secondary vocational education as a textbook for students of higher educational institutions, students of secondary vocational education. They were twice awarded a diploma of the competition of the Foundation for the development of domestic education of the Russian Federation for the best scientific book in the category «Jurisprudence».
For significant achievements in the organization and improvement of the educational process, development and implementation of educational programs of higher education, the introduction of new technologies, forms and methods of organizing and conducting classes in the educational process. M. N. Prudnikov became the winner of the Moscow Grant competition in the field of science and technology in the field of education by the decision of the Moscow government.
His works are well known abroad. The European Academy of Informatization (Brussels, Belgium) awarded the degree of Grand doctor of philosophy and awarded the academic title of full professor. He was awarded government awards: the order «Badge of Honor», medals «In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow», «For labor valor», etc.
He actively participates in the training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel. For a long time, he headed dissertation councils and was a member of the councils of leading universities in the Russian Federation. He was awarded the badge of the Ministry of education of Russia «Honorary worker of higher professional education of the Russian Federation» for his work in training highly qualified personnel.
He combined academic work with social and practical activities: he was twice a candidate for the State Duma (Parliament) and once for the Moscow city Duma (Parliament). He was a consultant and expert of the constitutional court of the Russian Federation and the State Duma.
