Svetlana Viktorovna Yachevskaya was born on April 10, 1977 in Moscow.
Education
She received her higher education at the International Independent Ecological and Political Science University, where she graduated in 2001 with a degree in jurisprudence.
Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor.
Work experience
Since December 1999, she worked for about four years at the Moscow Legal Center Bar Association. At first, she worked as an assistant lawyer, an intern, and later became a member of this bar.
In July 2003, she got a job at the Ministry of Property Relations of the Russian Federation, holding the post of deputy head of department, then — head of department.
In June 2004, she took the post of deputy head of department — head of department of the Federal Agency for Federal Property Management.
From November 2008 to May 2017, she headed the legal department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
In May 2017, she left the Ministry of Finance and went to work at Vnesheconombank as deputy chairperson. She is a member of the VEB board.
Awards and titles
She holds the class rank of «Actual State Advisor of the Russian Federation, 3rd class».
In 2010-2011, she received a number of gratitude — from the president, the government, the minister of finance, and was also awarded the medal of the Order «For Merit to the Fatherland» of the 2nd degree.
