Alexander Razumovsky was born on April 19, 1952 in Kineshma, Ivanovo region in the family of a military man. In 1969, he entered the medical faculty of the Gorky medical Institute named after S. M. Kirov. After graduation, he worked at the Gorky research Institute of traumatology and orthopedics:
from 1975 to 1980- Junior researcher of children’s orthopedics,
from 1980 -1983 — a post-graduate student at this Institute.
In 1983, he defended his thesis for the Cand. of Medical Science degree on the specialty «Traumatology and orthopedics» at the Pirogov CITO (Moscow).
From 1983-1984- chief doctor of the Gorky research Institute of Traumatology and orthopedics.
From 1994-1998, he worked In the administration of Nizhny Novgorod region: Deputy Director of the Department of health for personnel and work with educational and research institutions, Chairman of the Committee on disability, medical and social expertise and rehabilitation, Deputy Director for labor and social protection of the population.
From 1998-2001 — in the administration of Nizhny Novgorod: Vice-mayor, Deputy head of social Affairs.
In 2001, A.V. Razumovsky received a second higher education in Law at the Nizhny Novgorod law Academy.
Since 2001 to the present day- chief doctor of the City clinical hospital No. 13. Nizhny Novgorod for 1000 beds.
In parallel with the main work, he was actively engaged in scientific activities and in 2006 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the specialty «Health Organization and public health».
Alexander Razumovsky is the author of 82 articles, 5 monographs, 4 inventions, 6 textbooks, a member of the editorial Board of the Nizhny Novgorod medical journal, a participant in international and interregional scientific conferences.
Teaching activity: from 2002 to the present day, he is the Chairman of the State Commission of the state educational institution of secondary vocational education «Nizhny Novgorod medical basic College».
From 2002-2015- Professor of the Department no. 11 of the medical faculty of the Institute of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
Since 2015- head of the Department of medical rehabilitation of Nizhny Novgorod state medical University, and since 2018 – Professor of the same Department at the Nizhny Novgorod medical University.
Under the guidance of A.V. Razumovsky, 3 theses for the Cand. of Medical Science degree were defended.
Working as the chief doctor of the City clinical hospital No. 13, A.V. Razumovsky took an active part in the creation of Centers: vascular and trauma care, where new medical technologies are constantly introduced.
Social activities: member of the City Council of 3 convocations, Deputy Chairman of the City Council of N. Novgorod faction «Fair Russia» of the 6th convocation, a member of the medical chamber of Nizhny Novgorod region, a member of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of all-Russian public organization «Association of lawyers of Russia».
Awards: excellence in health care, 1988, a medal «200 years of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia», medal «75 years of Civil defense», the Honorary sign «Thanks from the mayor, the medal of the order «For merits before Fatherland» — 2018.
